School Enrollment Days
The distribution of school supplies to children in Yaoundé, in Cameroon, was a resounding success thanks to the support of our partners and the Groupe d’entraide Yeux du Cœur du Canada. Near of 200 kids were thus able to return to school.Thank you to all our generous donors!
Donated barrels shipped
The Yeux du Coeur Canada Support Group would like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Jean-François Lavigne and Pascal Thibeault for traveling to the seaport in Montreal this weekend to ship school supplies, clothing, medication, as well as toys, toothbrushes, and toothpaste…
Sanitary donations
Thanks to the karaoke event organized by the school Dominique-Racine, we collected dental supplies and feminine hygiene products for orphans in Cameroon.

Benefit Performances
The Yeux du Cœur du Canada Support Group is proud to present the benefit concert that took place on Friday, June 14, 2019, at the Vieux Théâtre de la Baie, featuring none other than Sophie Morin De Moor, as well as the duo Sweet Lies, who opened the event, with a special appearance by the talented Marie-Chantal Toupin.
Sport Articles Donations
The Yeux du Coeur Canada Support Group would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you to Mr. Maxime Pépin Larocque, Executive Director of the Venturi Saguenay Soccer Club, as well as to Charles-Olivier Hébert, for their contributions to our young children in Cameroon. Thank you once again for the donations of soccer balls and clothing!
Christmas Day
On December 11, 2022, our organization, Eyes of the Heart of Canada Support Group, visited the Fondation de L’espérance in Yaoundé, Cameroon, to celebrate Christmas with the children there. Since many of them are blind, it was a great joy for us to offer them our support during this festive season.
Toys Donations
I would like to take this opportunity to extend a special thank you to La Caserne de Jouets Saguenay, Inc. for their contribution. In particular, Mr. Mario Gagnon, for whom I have great admiration; Ms. Trixie Pagé; Ms. Vicky Lapointe; my brother Alexandre from Cameroon; and the entire team at this organization for their gifts of toys.
Obilli Orphanage
The Yeux du Coeur Canada Support Group is pleased to present the Christmas party held at the Obili Orphanage on Thursday, December 19, with the invaluable participation of the artist Dynastie le Tigre. We also cannot fail to acknowledge the dedication of the entire team of volunteers who ensured that this Christmas celebration went smoothly.
Community Garden
The Yeux du Cœur du Canada Support Group is proud to present the start of the first corn harvest from the community garden located in Yaoundé, Cameroon. In fact, in the coming weeks, our organization will be sending more advanced gardening equipment via waterways to make the gardeners’ work easier.
Cameroon Artists
We had a wonderful meeting today with K-Tino, a woman of the people. It was a tremendous pleasure for the Eyes of the Heart Self-Help Group of Canada as well as the Eyes of the Heart Self-Help Group of Cameroon. for having had the chance to meet this wonderful lady with a heart of gold. We’ll be sharing more good news soon. So be sure to stay tuned to our page—we hope to see lots of you there!

My appearance this morning on Canal 2 International in Yaoundé, Cameroon, was very rewarding. A big thank you to the entire studio team for having me on the show *Nous chez vous* with the very energetic host Jamel Laplage and the executive producer, and I can’t fail to mention the kindness of Ms. Solange Gamale from the HOPE FOR ALL Espoir Pour Tous association.
